Under certain circumstances the utilization of commercial flights for the transportation (for patients) is feasible.
GAAN experience medical team will evaluate the actual medical conditions and working closely with our operations offices will organize the repatriation.
Airlines used must provide approved stretchers for the patient and seats for the medical crew and escorts.
Qualified doctors and nurses using high tech life support equipment approved for use during the flight will escort the patient and if there is a requirement to combine the commercial flight with an air ambulance flight they will organize a wing to wing operation allowing us to deliver the patient directly to the chosen destination minimizing the travel time.
